John, or JP, is the Founder of Roll Cameras. Having studied film making and lighting techniques from Director Ken Russell while at university, JP has become an accomplished DOP / Lighting Camera Operator, with over 16 years’ experience of a variety of production genres.

Well travelled, JP has successfully filmed numerous projects for broadcasters, agencies and production companies in the UK and overseas, in varying location types. From setting and lighting for drama and commercials, capturing actuality and live action on location and in studio, to on-location interviews with Hollywood superstars, CEOs or the man on the street, JP is well versed in achieving the Producer/Director’s look goal.
